Royal Designs started from surprisingly humble beginnings from artist/craftsman- Nosakhere Papa Soul. As my first experience with ethnic jewelry was a necklace gifted to me from a beautiful Queen. At that  time as a penniless scrubby but perceived handsome teen. I was  indeed charmed to be even noticeable by the likes of her. What those hazel bronze sparkling eyes saw in me at the time was beyond me. O how I loved the gesture, thoughtfulness and its one of a kind beauty. This necklace was later borrowed  by a juvenile and broken in rivalry. Yet the experience of her unforgettable gift. Would unexpectedly shape my impression in which such handmade favors bestowed.

Once I cultivated my own designs with ages of labor. Finally arriving at distinct and significant creations. Having searched far and wide for the finest of materials. I would scurry about the streets on foot with newly inspired pieces. To give impressions memorable as the Queen herself made upon yours truly. With just a leather bag filled with carefully fashioned works and fresh  homemade pastries to cleverly stir the senses. I would then collect coin and bill well over for years. Until ultimately the treasure and vision of Royal Designs was at last conceived.
